The Maasi Peruvizha festival is a 13-day festival celebrated at the Arulmigu Mel Malayanur Angalamman Kovil in Melmalayanur, Tamil Nadu. The festival occurs between February and March of the Tamil calendar month of Maasi.
Melmalayanur Masimadha Thiruvizha: Melmalaiyanurin Mahashivarathri Celebration 2022. Melmalayanur is located near Gingee, Tamil Nadu, India, 21 km from Chetput (Tiruvannamalai District) and 21 km away from Gingee (Villupuram District) It is famous for the Goddess Angalaamman. Across from Southern India, devotees visit. Lakhs of devotees visit here every new moon and full moon days since it is supposed to be auspicious during these days.
