Ranka Monastery (also known as Lingdum) is a relatively new but significant Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Sikkim, built in 1998, following the Zurmang Kagyu lineage, serving as the seat for Zurmang Charwang Rinpoche and a major study center with stunning Tibetan architecture, murals, and large Buddha statues, distinct from older monasteries like Rumtek or Dubdi.
Queen's Pod is a scenic restaurant and cafe in Gangtok, Sikkim, started by sisters Senorita and Anna, inspired by seeing a unique natural formation under a tree, growing from a vision to a cozy, nature-focused spot known for its views, family-friendly vibe, and cultural immersion, like free traditional attire for photos. It's located in Adampool and Tadong, aiming to be more than just food, focusing on connections and experiences, celebrating its second anniversary around 2025
