We explored Ksamil, Albania — often called Europe’s version of the Caribbean — and took a kayak trip around the stunning Ksamil Islands just off the coast. Even though the area was busy, the crystal-clear water, island views, and adventure made it absolutely unforgettable.

Along the way, we shared where we stayed (between Sarandë and Ksamil) and visited Mirror Beach, one of the top hidden gems in Albania — complete with cliff jumping and some of the clearest water in Europe.

This region of the Albanian Riviera is a must-visit for backpackers, budget travelers, and Europe road trippers looking for tropical vibes without the price tag.
