I review my original JET Program personal statement from 2017 when I applied and give myself the kind of advice and tips I'd offer anyone who sends me their own personal statement (or statement of purpose) for feedback from me. As you'll see I made a number of common errors in my JET Program personal statement. Avoid these mistakes by following the JET Program personal statement advice I give myself in this video. In next week's video, I will apply changes based on the feedback from this video to my JET Program statement of purpose and go over a new and improved version.
