I've been a bit preoccupied with other things, so I thought I'd share a short clip from the start of the next episode I'm working on. I've been doing some deep dives into Tiffany Henyard's campaign contributors, and this particular campaign donor (John's Pizzeria) has such a fascinating back story that deserves to be told. This particular pizzeria has been taking in $350-$550k per year from Thornton Township for catering services, giving around $500-$1000 each year in campaign contributions to the previous supervisor (Frank Zuccarelli). When Tiffany took over Frank's job, she seems to have inherited a $5k / year campaign contribution in exchange for around $40k/month in business for John's Pizzeria out of Munster, Indiana.
The rest of this episode will cover all her campaign donors and explore the financial incentives of those who contributed large amounts of money to her campaign fund. I'm also working on improvements to the animations - this is my first time animating anything, so there has been a learning curve.
