EASY TASTY Blueberry Jam and Candy & 2 Books about Appalachia

Come along as Corie and I pick blueberries and make jam. We love to eat the blueberries that grow here in the Appalachian Mountains as we pick them off the bushes and we love to put them up for winter eating too!

Here's the simple recipe:

8 1/2 cups blueberries
3 cups sugar
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

Place all ingredients in large sauce pot. Bring mixture to a boil while stirring. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes. While mixture cooks crush blueberries gently to your preference. Pour into hot jars and seal. Remember most jellies/jams take up to 48 hours to fully set up.
