Do you value being busy? Busy doesn't mean productive...
This is hard lesson and one I need to be reminded of often.
I find myself doing everything as if time is running out. Even simple things like: brushing my teeth vacuuming, eating, etc...
Here is the truth. Time is made up.
Time on a clock was invented by us.
In the Big Leap by Gay Hendricks he talks about Einstein time.
You control time.
A few things I have been doing lately that has helped:
Every night going over what got done.
Making a task list for the following day
Reminding myself that I have time.
Time is weird and we all perceive it differently.
Sometimes hours FLY by and other times they drag on for what feels like days.
What's actually different in those scenarios is our physiology.
