Scores of fans gathered at Zubeen Kshetra in Sonapur on the outskirts of Guwahati at midnight to mark the 53rd birth anniversary of singer Zubeen Garg. Fans reached the site at 12 am and offered gamosa, flowers and lit lamps as a tribute.
The crowd sang Mayabini while cutting cakes to celebrate the cultural icon’s birthday. Singer Manas Robin also joined the fans at Zubeen Kshetra and took part in the tribute and the birthday celebrations.
