DARK SOULS REMASTERED- PvP escape via Lower 'Burg skip

A couple lessons on display here.

1.) There's apparently a way to cancel the landing animation from a plunging attack in this area? Idk what I did other than hold a direction button but it might have to do with me landing on a slight slope.

2.) I obviously screwed up when I backed toward where you're supposed to enter the lower 'burg- I know a dog patrols there, ngl, I panicked a bit. I should instead have went the other way just around the first corner, allowing me to wait on my potential pursuer in case they tried to follow.

3.) While they were smart not to IMMEDIATELY follow me (they'd have been at low hp after thanks to fall damage, leaving them open to me responding), they missed the opportunity to capitalize on my mistake once I had the whole angry mob on me. One extra arrow, firebomb, any extra damage at any point during the first half of that fight, and I'd have been had.

4.) Note, I had no way out of there once I went down. The fog wall works both ways, so I can't get back to the upper burg. Had they pursued me, I would've had no choice but to fight.
