In this video I make great progress on the engine and actually fulfill my plans for the day, which is rare 😀

The feeling in the garage is very positive right now and I am really enjoying the project. It feels that this thing is taking shape!

As a viewer, you don’t see much of the thought and consideration that goes on behind the scenes, not to mention the sheer amount of mental puzzling and worry surrounding this project. There is also a lot of personal determination required and in reality I need to push myself to tackle certain jobs. And the engine work is one of them.

I very much appreicate and enjoy the feedback I receive from you guys, it makes me feel more connected to like-minded people and the network in general. Sharing this work is a very personal thing and my main focus here is to help others who are doing the same work or even just considering it.

My overall message is this: If you want to work on your car, and you haven’t yet, just start on something small and it will grow from there. By all means prepare yourself via tutorials/forums etc but take the plunge. You won’t regret it. And if you are stuck for space, try and work round it. I started on the street, then worked in neighbours driveways, then infinally found a garage. Where there‘s a will there‘s a way.
