Classical Gurukul presents a kheyal rendition in raga Gaur Malhar by Shrabanti Dhar. Born in Cox's bazaar, She has playfully started her training in music from the tender age of 5, thanks to the perks of a musical family. She eventually moved on to legendary teachers of the district namely Ustad Abu Bakkar Siddique for classical music and Pt. Mihir Lala and Smt. Jayanti Lala for Nazrul geeti as she grew older. Shrabanti eventually moved to the capital city Dhaka, Bangladesh where she pursued further training Indian classical music from her gurus Smt Shila Momen, Ali F.M Rezwan Ali and the legendary Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar at Bengal Parampara. Shrabanti has also had the opportunity to learn from Smt. Shubhra Guha and her prominent disciples and also further talim in Nazrul geeti from eminent artistes like Khairul Alam Shakil. Shrabanti performs regularly and is currently a teacher and a regular performer as an enlisted artist at Bangladesh's national television and radio.
