Press Conference of the movie Sarkeet | #IFFI2025
In the Middle East, Balu and Stephy, a young NRI couple from Kerala,
fight to keep their small family afloat amidst their days shaped by
tiresome work and lively disorder brought by their son Jappu. Their
fragile bonding is strained under exhaustion and harsh realities.
One day when Jappu was all alone in their apartment, Ameer a job
seeker from Kerala, desperately in need of money, breaks into the
house. In the unexpected and accidental incidents that followed, he
gets himself entangled in a strange bond with Jappu. Over a single
day and night, unspoken conflicts, and fleeting kindness surface,
revealing how trivial moments of empathy can change human lives.
