Got bored and didn't think of nicknaming these Pokémon in this particular Monotype. Also, the Top 3 hardest battles are:
3. Giovanni at Cerulean Cave
2. Bugsy
1. Sandstorm Gauntlet
The three battles mentioned benefit from having a lot of Pokémon that are super-effective to Ice Types, with Bugsy having a part Steel-type as his ace. Got to give a shout to both battles from Erika, which was insanely tricky despite having the type advantage while having an easy time with Blaine, which I have the type disadvantage.
TIMESTAMPS
0:00 First Rival Battle
0:09 Brendan (Viridian Forest)
0:17 Lass Anne
0:44 Falkner
1:01 Brock - Starting with a Type Disadvantage is insanely bad, but a Pokemon with a x4 weakness to Fire in Frosmoth handling Vulpix is insanely good.
1:34 Super Nerd Miguel
1:59 Team Rocket Admin Archer - First reset came to him because I let his Mightyena set up
2:20 Rival Battle (Cerulean City)
2:47 Nugget Bridge Gauntlet - While the first five battles were manageable, the last one against the Team Rocket Grunt wasn't
4:57 Bugsy - First major roadblock of the Ice Monotype, mainly because of Scizor and its Technician-boosted Bullet Punch. The battle's so hard that I prematurely evolved Shellder into Cloyster for additional bulk and sweep with Shell Smash.
5:13 Misty - Snover just casually beating this battle all by itself, just like in the Grass Monotype
5:47 Team Rocket Grunt (Cerulean City)
6:15 Whitney - Miltank being annoying as usual
7:02 SS Anne Double Battles
7:52 Brendan (SS Anne)
8:18 Lt. Surge - With an incredible play of Galarian Mr. Mime Skill Swapping its Ability with Alolan Raichu just as it used Nasty Plot, then Encored her to keep Nasty Plotting.
9:08 Erika - For a match-up that I have the type advantage with, it is surprisingly tricky, mainly because of Contrary Serperior and Hisuian Electrode.
9:51 Giovanni (Team Rocket Hideout)
10:44 Morty - AKA The True Power of Skill Link / Shell Smash Cloyster Pt. 1. While not used, it held the Rawst Berry so that it can heal the first Will-o-Wisp from his lead Mimikyu.
11:08 Chuck - AKA The True Power of Skill Link / Shell Smash Cloyster Pt. 2 ft. Will-o-Wisp and Destiny Bond assistance from Froslass.
11:57 Rival Battle (Silph Co.)
12:33 Team Rocket Admin Archer and Ariana Double Battle (Silph Co.)
13:13 Giovanni (Silph Co.) - I gave myself a handicap in one of the hardest battles in Radical Red (personally) by not bringing Abomasnow which can change the weather in Snow Warning, which means I let his Pokemon with Sand-based Abilities get the beneficiaries.
13:56 Sabrina
14:33 Brock Rematch - That Iron Head flinch was absolute clutch
15:21 Misty Rematch
16:07 Lt. Surge Rematch - Thank goodness for Mr. Rime's Screen Cleaner, guaranteeing Pachirisu goes down before sending it
16:42 Dumbass Mudkip Kid
17:20 Hailstorm Gauntlet - Normally, I would've went with the Sandstorm Gauntlet first but because I needed some encounters here I went with this one first.
18:42 Sandstorm Gauntlet - Definitely the hardest Weather Gauntlet in all of the Monotype challenges I've done so far. Also features the debut of Bulky Offensive Walrein.
20:53 Heavy Rain Gauntlet
22:44 Erika Rematch
23:24 Brendan (Fuchsia City)
24:17 Harsh Sunlight Gauntlet - Radical Red buffing Castform by automatically turning to the form of choice depending on the Weather-extending Rock held. And as the great MandJTV would say, "HAIL YEAH!"
26:15 Koga
27:39 Pryce - May the real Pryce please stand up, also features the first appearance of Galarian Darmanitan Zen Mode, the star player for the late-game.
28:12 Jasmine
29:19 Blaine - Insane that I struggled more with the Gym that I had a type advantage (Erika) over a Gym that I had a type disadvantage, being this one
29:56 Team Rocket Admin Archer and Ariana (Cerulean Cave)
30:53 Giovanni (Cerulean Cave) - This battle took quite a lot of resets/failed attempts trying to figure which set of 3 would be best
31:34 Clair
32:19 Rival Battle (Pre-Champion)
33:07 Brendan (Pre-Champion)
