After two years, I finally made it to this proud Polish city and former capital on the Vistula River. The capital of Poland before Krakow, this city has a bit of history to it, to say the least. Join me as we discover Płock. On this travel vlog and walking tour, we will explore the side streets from the train and bus station, past the apartment blocks, towards the old town, and more specifically, the river walk area. There are some amazing views, especially from the famous Płock Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Masovia. During one of its constructions, this was the largest church built in 17th-century Poland.
In addition to looking at the beautiful surroundings, I will share several stories from my travels and comment on this interesting city.
If you are ever in the area, this is a must-visit, and it is a cool place to see along the river. Let me know in the comments if you have ever been or would visit this place. Did I give you some ideas on things to do or places to see? More importantly, what did I get wrong and right concerning the area?
