Knife Making: EDC Destiny Hunter

Watch me make my first knife on my new belt grinder! This was a custom knife for a friend who wanted a carryable version of the Hunter knife from Destiny the video game.

This design incorporated not one but two finger holes which took some tinkering to get right. I was also able to cut into an awesome G-Carta block from Greg Hanson for the handle. Still working on the best way to finish G-Carta but so far the THIN Starbond glue paired with a light buff is giving the best results. Check my link below!

I picked up this second-hand Alec Steele Co. 2x48 and am loving it. I have my eyes on a few of the awesome attachments they offer too. The tilting base and small wheel attachment should make this machine even more versatile. Let me know if you have any tips/tricks for these machines and the VFD's.
