"Nixie" is just a song title. Coming up with a title is sometimes the hardest part of writing music. I think nixie tubes are cool, so I chose that name. It had nothing to do with the song, although nixie also refers to a mythical water nymph or demon. Yeah, that's what the song is about, LOL. Whatever.
It was just a Sunday ad-lib creative session. It features a Behringer Poly D sequencing a Minimoog and a BeatBuddy for the rhythm track. The lead is a Moog Mavis in a NiftyKEYZ keyboard / enclosure (which, as the ring light has revealed, is in need of a good dusting).
