THREE CHEERS FOR CAMP BLOOD: A FRIDAY THE 13TH FAN FILM

Back in 2005 there was this cool game called The Movies Game. It was mostly a strategy game where you ran a movie studio but the real fun was that instead of having the game generate fake movies by your studio, you could make them yourself. It was obviously pretty limited but it was enough to spark my imagination. And after playing it a while I thought it was time for the movie I was born to make. My own Friday the 13th.

I scoured through all the available scenes in the game trying to figure out a way to put together some sort of narrative. And then it was time for voice acting. And as we learned from Zombie Pope last week, I am not a voice actor. But I had to do them all myself and they're mostly women. Could I have tried to get other people to do it? Probably. But this was 2005. I wasn't making this for public consumption on YouTube. I was making it just to show my friends. If I put my friends in it and they knew all about it then it wouldn't be fun to show it to them.

And... well... I don't know what else to say. I still think it's pretty funny and stupid. Enjoy!
