Migrants are protesting the raids being carried out in this state against those who violate immigration laws. Because since Trump came to power, he has been promising to fundamentally solve this problem.

To understand the scale of this, federal agents are ordered to detain 3,000 migrants a day. There is something wrong with this action of the authorities, because the law enforcement agencies continued to detain migrants without determining their status. And during the detentions, tear gas, stun grenades were used.

After that, a rally began in the city center. After those who gathered began to throw objects at them, this rally was also violently dispersed. The demonstrators burned cars.

Later, Trump deployed troops to the city. The 2,000 National Guard soldiers are subordinate to both the state and federal authorities. The Trump administration, seeing the Mexican flag at the protest, called it "foreign interference."

However, the state governor, Henry Newsom, a Democrat, expressed his opposition to Trump, calling the deployment of troops illegal and inhumane. Not stopping there, the state government sued Trump. The mayor of the city accused the Trump administration of causing this chaos.

Trump did not back down and said that the state governor should be arrested. In response, Newsom called this real authoritarianism.

And then other states joined the protests. Most of them are Democrats. Thus, another battle between Republicans and Democrats over the issue of illegal immigrants.
