The (Weird) Decline of Brookstone | Home of the Odd | History in the Dark

Brookstone was a mall-based retailer that specialized in... well, weird stuff. Odd tools or devices that most other places wouldn't sell at all, Brookstone had it. It made for a fun and unique shopping experience. But a decline in malls as well as management screwups resulted in two bankruptcies in four years. While they remain around, you can no longer find them in malls at all.
