Megadeth in addition to being one of the most legendary Thrash Metal bands in history is also known to be a factory of some of the best guitarists in the world of Metal. So today, just like we did with Megadeth drummers in a previous episode, let’s take a look at the history of all of them!
We will take a look at the early days of Megadeth and discuss the first guitarists Dave Mustaine brought into the band, including Robbie McKinney, Greg Handevidt and Kerry King, and then talk about the first records of Megadeth, recorded with Chris Poland, Mike Albert, Jeff Reynolds and Jeff Young, who helped shape Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good!, Peace Sells... but Who's Buying? and So Far, So Good... So What!
We will then talk about the golden era of Megadeth with Marty Friedman, discuss the Al Pitrelli, Glenn Drover, Chris Broderick eras, and of course the latest era of Megadeth with Kiko Loureiro and Teemu Mäntysaari shredding with Dave Mustaine.
And who is your favourite Megadeth guitarist?
