A former offensive lineman at Oklahoma, Moore climbed the coaching ranks to lead Michigan—the winningest program in the sport—and became one of the few Black head coaches to reach college football’s highest tier. On Wednesday, Moore was fired by Michigan and arrested, as authorities investigate allegations of an assault, and the university cited an inappropriate relationship with a staff member.
