यूपी के वाराणसी में 23 लोगों पर एक युवती के साथ 'गैंगरेप' करने का आरोप लगा है. पीड़िता का आरोप है कि उसके साथ लगातार ‘7 दिनों तक बारी-बारी से’ रेप किया गया. घटना से जुड़ी FIR के मुताबिक आरोपियों ने पीड़िता को नशीला पदार्थ दिया और शहर में कई जगहों पर ले जाकर बलात्कार किया. यह घटना 29 मार्च से 4 अप्रैल के बीच की है. पुलिस ने मामले में 23 लोगों के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज की है. इनमें से 11 अज्ञात हैं. मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के मुताबिक, अब तक 9 लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है, जिसमें हुक्का बार चलाने वाला अनमोल गुप्ता भी शामिल है. बताया जा रहा है कि गुप्ता ही गैंग का सरगना है और सेक्स रैकेट चलाने के आरोप में पहले भी जेल जा चुका है.
