Segments of the once-lost Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoon "Cold Turkey" (1929) were discovered in Albany, Oregon in 2018 and have been donated to the UCLA Film & Television Archive. "Cold Turkey" dates from Oswald's post-Disney career at Universal Studios and was animated by Walter Lantz, Bill Nolan, and Tom Palmer.
How the fragments came into the possession of the Greater Albany Public School District remains a mystery. They are believed to be sections from a work print or censored outtakes.
