If your alarm keeps going off and you are getting the message that your hood is open, even though its not, there is a high probability that your latch sensor has failed.
In this video I go through how to diagnose and replace a faulty latch sensor. There are many videos on how to bypass the sensor but with todays sensitive electronics systems on modern vehicles it is always recommended to fix a problem with proper parts.
Tools Needed:
Digital Multimeter
13mm wrench or socket
