Just a mediocre cover of a song from 2000 that I heard on the radio quite a bit growing up. I would sing along to the chorus when it came on but never really paid attention to the verses until the other week when I looked up the lyrics for the first time.
I started playing/singing this song the same day I recorded this and though this was not my first take, I think I could’ve done a little better had I done a few more takes… but not going for perfection here! Thank You for going easy on me 😅
I always remembered the opening minor chord which gives a sort of haunting vibe… I didn’t realize just how sweet of a song it really is!
Here’s to those people in our lives whose mere presence just makes things better! Those people who add a little ‘extra’ to the ordinary. Those people who make us glad we got out of bed in the morning. Thank you ;)
