Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 is one of the most controversial superhero movies released in superhero film history. Criticisms include over use of villains, over use of subplots, Sandman being the one who killed Uncle Ben, Harry Osborn not actually being the next Green Goblin, Venom not being bulky and muscular enough and more. But what we're talking about is the symbiote suit the friendly neighborhood hero wore - it's basically the same fabric as his red and blue suit, turned black, with web patterns and different logos. Whereas, in the comics, it didn't have the webs, and the logo was larger. Personally, I don't think it's as bad as some may say, having looked at the comic book of Marvel Superhero Secret Wars issue number 8 as it explains why it is that way.
