We wanted to have our first dance as a married couple reflect who we are. Really relaxed, fun, minimally choreographed while incorporating dances and songs that we love. Disney’s Married Life song from the movie Up was part of our wedding theme, dancing to Kizomba to a song that reminded us of when we competed at AfricaDancar, and Soukous the dance that was key in giving us appreciation for the richness of African music and dance.
