In the latest of our archive interview series, it is time to hear from husband and wife team Chris and Evelyn Bradley - two legends of Whitburn Band.
Chris, who joined Whitburn back in 1983, and Evelyn - who became a member in 1988 - have been two leading players at Whitburn for decades, with Chris on Principal Cornet for many years and Evelyn a former Principal Euphonium and Principal Baritone player.
Here they discuss their memories of performing with Whitburn and the joy they felt when they were joined in the band by their son Ryan, while also watching on proudly as their daughter Lauren flourishes as a singer-songwriter.
Chris and Evelyn's interview with Robert Fraser, which was recorded in 2021, is part of an exhibition about the band at the Whitburn Community Museum, which is in the new Whitburn Partnership Centre at Whitburn Cross.
