Broiler Breeder Project in Austria - VDL Agrotech and VDL Jansen - Poultry equipment and systems

At the highest point of the Wels-land Province in Austria, 450 metres above sea level, you can not only find the village Pichl bei Wels, but also a state-of-the-art project as well! Last year a new broiler breeder house was built with a capacity of 12.000 broiler breeders. The broiler breeder house contains VDL Agrotech Chainovation chain feeding system for the females and the specially designed Matrix feeding system for the males. The combination of these feeding systems ensures a calmer feeding time. The choice for the nests was easy for the farm owners, they have been working with the Premium+ nest from VDL Jansen for over 20 years to full satisfaction. The Premium+ laying nest is designed for the production of premium-quality hatching eggs. Eggs stay perfectly clean and the correct handling of the eggs avoids damages. For the egg transport the owners chose the FlexBelt egg conveyor belt with uniquely shaped egg carriers. For a good overview of the complete project and all the ins and outs watch our video!
