The ScanNCut makes sticker making incredibly easy! As far as I'm concerned, it is the easiest of all the major cutters for making stickers because of the scanner. You only need a simple word processing program to layout any print images you want to use, a printer and the ScanNCut. No additional software needed. You don't even need to use Brother Canvas Workspace.

You can also stamp images and turn them into stickers or hand write and hand draw images and words to turn into stickers. Have your kids or grandkids draw things and then turn them into stickers. How fun is that?

Steps for Making Stickers with the ScanNCut DX:

1. Decide what images you want to make into stickers.

2. If you want to stamp or draw images for stickers, use Matte sticker paper. If only printing images, you can use either matte or glossy sticker paper.

3. If using images/photos from your computer, lay them out in a word processing program, like Word, Powerpoint, Pages, etc. and print them at at a high quality on to sticker paper. The video contains the exact steps for laying images out in Word.

4. If using images that have been downloaded from the Internet, make sure they are at a high enough resolution to print clearly and that you only use them for personal projects. NOTE: It is illegal to sell copyrighted images as stickers and most images from the Internet are copyrighted.

5. Place the printed sticker paper on to a mat and load into the ScanNCut DX. Scan the images (exact steps shown in video).

6. If desired, add an outline to the scanned images. Change the cut settings and cut the stickers with the ScanNCut (refer to video for recommended cut settings).

7. Do a test cut to make sure the cut settings are correct. Repeat until your ScanNCut cuts through the top layer only but not the backing paper.

8. Cut out the stickers and enjoy! Thanks for watching.
