In this video Corin looks at a rough bark Japanese maple - Acer palmatum 'Arakawa'. This particular tree has a good initial structure but needs some tweaking and adjusting to get the best shape out of the tree. With the use of wire and pruning of long internodes, this Japanese maple bonsai now has a more compact and cohesive structure.
