Giant Trevally Fishing Rarotonga 2021

Tim tried to go on a romantic holiday with his wife to Rarotonga. Little did he know, he was going to spend the 4 days leading up to the full moon getting absolutely peeled by big angry Giant Trevally.
Fortunately his wife is a legend, and she was very understanding that this kind of hot bite does not come along often.
Not to worry, Tim and his wife had a good catch up on the plane ride home to New Zealand.
Thank goodness he had a go pro with him, and a big box of poppers and stick baits to get him through the week.
If you get the chance to fish in Rarotonga, please be very carful, the tidal flow in this lagoon is really gnarly. Respect the ra'ui zones, respect the reef, respect the locals.
