Excelsior, A Rag by Joseph Lamb, composed in 1909.
"Excelsior" (Latin for 'higher) is one of the 12 rags Lamb published with the Stark Music Company, and is considered a 'heavy' rag (Lamb himself liked to categorize his ragtime into heavy or light, depending on the difficulty, complexity, and structure.)
