Well air traffic is a little slow and with all of us having a bit of extra time on our hands I woke up one morning and looked at the planned arrivals for Detroit Metro airport and noticed a window without much traffic and decided that I should try and land at the air carrier class airport. It's one of the busiest airports in the nation. So I put the plan into action wondering with hopes of landing at the airport. I spend a bunch time flying at small grass airports most people don't think about using, this is much the same. I decided to try and use an airport that most people would not consider using. The Stinson 108 is a 72 year old plane and has few upgrades besides a communication radio and intercom (along with the requires Transponder and ADS-B equipment) It also has a 72 year old engine, while it's been rebuilt many times and is in great condition it doesn't change that the power plant uses technology your grandpa better understood than most mechanics today.
