Is NYC the only walkable city in America?
Well, it’s actually a topic a lot of you brought up in a previous video of mine where I talked about how the college experience is one of the only times in an American’s life where we live in a walkable community.
Everyone kept brining up NYC in the comments.
And yes, NYC is extremely walkable, but it’s not the only walkable city in America.
Other big cities, like Boston or DC are really walkable.
Or smaller cities like Savannah, GA or Portland, ME also are very walkable.
But here’s another way to look at it:
What are the 3 most important places for you to get each week?
For most, it will be work, groceries, and some type of entertainment.
If you’re able live in a location where you can walk to all those places, you’ve created a walkable environment for YOU!
That doesn’t mean the whole town is walkable and it doesn’t mean you’ll be walking on quaint cobblestone streets.
But, it’s a step in the right direction.
