50/20 UCN VR - Non VR (Flatmode) VERIFIED

Ever since I saw this mode on the Unverified Modes List in the MML I practically fell in love with it. The pure stupidity of this mode- actually no. The pure stupidity of this whole GAME is just amazing to me. Literally made as an APRIL FOOLS JOKE is so fucking funny to me and the fact that it was assumingly never supposed to be beaten or even possible in the first place probably made me love it even more.

I first played this back in like September and beat 45/20. I was supposed to play it much more but then got side tracked and the mode kind of collected dust. Then more recently after I had beaten HGFAC and was looking for new hardest max modes that were appealing and I remembered Flatmode again so I decided to try it out.

Slowly worked up my progression through 46/20 and 47/20 and after that when I started playing 48/20 me and a few others realised something. The Duct characters just DIDNT work properly. Apparently if you just...NEVER enter the duct system, they won't function properly and you just have to use the heater once a night? It's so strange to me but I honestly wasn't complaining since it made the mode much easier for me.

Then I managed to beat 48/20 (With BlookNook in a VC, who was the previous Flatmode WR holder so HUGE shoutout to them since they were a great help and huge motivation :D)

Went on to beat 49/20 and honestly wasn't having a bad time with the mode. Sure there was rng, quite a relevant amount, but overall I was having fun. But oh boy...here came 50/20 Flatmode.

50/20 compared to 49/20 is fucking NOTHING in comparison. Every build up before took me around 6 hours to beat all of them. When i was 6 hours into this, my PB wasn't even 2 AM. The amount of BULLSHIT and RNG in this is an INSANE AMOUNT compared to 49/20. Characters who you have never had issues with before, suddenly become HUGE ISSUES due to FUCKING LOLBIT and the pure amount of multitasking buff that happens from 49 to 50/20 and all the extra characters. Rockstar Chica, who was only slightly RNG before, now suddenly became a huge fuck you whenever I was playing. Majority of my deaths were between 12 AM and 2 AM. Like holy fucking shit, you have never played a game that makes you want to just give up when you make no progression.

But then FINALLY. FUCKING FINALLY. After 60 + hours I beat 50/20 Flatmode and PROVED it was possible. It was a fucking wild journey and honestly I can't believe I did it after the numerous 5 AMs I had while playing the mode.
