Today my friends and I set out to complete Vow of The Disciple using only Glaives! Is it possible, probably not, but we're gonna try anyway. Will our run be halted by a certain ogre shaped scorn, or will we prevail? Hope you guys enjoy!

Can you beat Vow of the disciple using only glaives? Probably not, but today my friends and I are gonna try anyway. Now you may be thinking, well toad, what about caretaker or rhulk or - don’t worry, we’ll get there. For now let’s lay some ground rules, the only weapons we are allowed to use are glaives, doesn’t matter which one. Abilities are allowed only because, this is already gonna be rough as is, and they at least gives us a chance. Let’s be real glaives aren’t exactly an optimal source of DPS so – sorry, we’ll get there. Anyway enough preamble, let’s find out of you can beat Vow of the disciple using only Glaives.First encounter. The only real threat here is the unstoppable ogre, however, we filmed this right before season 17 ended, so, we still had unstoppable glaive. Damn, first try Dear god okay, let’s tackle Caretaker, I was really hoping that would take a bit longer but, here we are. So the funny about glaives is they don’t put out great DPS and they have a pretty limited firing range, 2 things that are pretty much core to the caretaker encounter, and as we established in Acuisition, hitting the obelisks with the glaive projectiles can sometimes be easier said than done.So after a some trial and a lot of error, we realized that, surprising literally no one, Caretaker is just not possible with Glaives only. 1st of all, between stunning him, killing adds, and hitting that damn obelisk, by the time we’re actually at the damage phase, ammo is running real dry. On top of that let’s say you could hypothetically reach his last stand this way. This is when the glaive’s second big weakness comes into play. Glaives pretty bad range, straight poopy tier. So hitting Caretaker at the final stand distance would prove challenging. But, we had a feeling this would happen and came prepared. For the duration of this encounter we will have the medieval clause enabled. This means for the rest of caretaker we will be allowed to use glaives, swords, and bows of all kinds. Someone gave me this idea in the comments section and sorry I can’t remember who but, shout out to you. Hopefully now we can have a shot at killing the caretaker while still fitting in with the theme. God I knew Caretaker would be a roadblock for us, but that shit took a while. Anyway, back to glaives. Alright Exhibition, this should be interesting. The only glaring issues I can see here are the overload hobgoblins and, pretty much everything else. I swear anytime a team gets to exhibition it’s a coin toss, you’re either gonna be there for at least an hour or you’ll get it first try. With Exhibition finally out of the way we were understandably tired, so we grabbed the Rhulk Checkpoint and decided to regroup the following day. Now Rhulk is interesting cause on paper, the only serious roadblock is gonna be our damage, which is might I add, a pretty serious roadblock. That and, Rhulk has this tendency to kick the shit out of you if you get too close to him so, spears really aren’t the best method of attack but hey, that’s kinda the point.
