From winding roads to thin air, this part of the journey brought me to Komic Village known as the world’s highest motorable village.
But what I experienced here went far beyond altitude.

I didn’t stay in a hotel. I stayed in someone’s home.
A real Spitian household, where warmth isn’t measured by heaters, but by people.

I spent time talking to the locals, listening to their stories, understanding how life flows at this height - slow, grounded, and deeply connected to nature. We shared meals cooked in their kitchen, sat together in their rooms, laughed, and exchanged stories that don’t exist on Google Maps.

Every corner of the house had a story.
Every smile felt genuine.
Every conversation reminded me how simple life can be, and how rich it feels when people open their doors and hearts.

Komic didn’t feel cold.
It felt welcoming.
It felt human.

This episode is less about places and more about people, conversations, and the kind of hospitality that stays with you long after you leave.

If Spiti teaches you anything, it’s this:
Sometimes the highest places give you the most grounded lessons.
