THE DAY OF THE LORD—From Ancient Prophecy to the Final Fire in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 (TH-09)

Welcome back. If I could sit across the table from you today at a coffee shop, with my Bible open and my journal right here, I would tell you that we have arrived at the single most practical chapter in the New Testament on how to survive the end of the world: 1 Thessalonians Chapter 5.

Paul wrote to students of Jesus living 300 miles away in Thessalonica—a bustling seaport and military hub on the Egnatian Way. These believers were under intense pressure. They were being persecuted. They were tempted to blend in. They were tempted to fall asleep spiritually.

Does that sound familiar? We live in a world that is desperately crying out for "peace and safety," yet it is rushing headlong into darkness. The culture tells you to numb out, scroll on, and drift downstream. But Paul says: Wake up.
