Grapeleaf Skeletonizer, THAT'S what's eating away at the grape vine

A little caterpillar called the grapeleaf skeletonizer eats grape leaves and can put a quick end to an upcoming grape harvest. This year the little bug came after harvest. My approach...cut back vines and throw them away.
IF this pest shows up before grape harvest, spray with BT.
Do nothing? We did that one year and I was amazed at the quantity of black (deep purple) moths drifting about my backyard all of a sudden one day, as if by magic. Also, no leaves while grapes are about to set on=no grapes.
Final thoughts, DON'T TOUCH. Whether out of curiosity or working on trimming up the grape vine, don't touch this caterpillar. It exudes a toxin that stings.
