The Cherokee Heritage Center recently taught 1700's Cherokee clothing class taught by National Treasure Tonia Weavel. The class was held to instruct on authentic period clothing for Cherokees during the 18th century. It included a historical overview of aboriginal, trade influenced and Cherokee adaptations to textiles.
