Entrepreneurship descended in its truest spirit at the recently hosted Entrepreneurs’ Podium (E-Podium) organized by B. K. Majumdar Institute of Business Administration on 6th, 7th & 9th February 2015. With an objective of engaging students in a one on one interaction with entrepreneurs from varied domain expertise and to ultimately shape a much stronger foundation in students to build better businesses, E Podium invited noteworthy Entrepreneurs like Mr. Kamlesh Galndhi (MAS Finance), Mr. Nadeem Jafri (Hearty Mart), Mr. Abhishek Jain (Cineman), Ms. Ismet Khambhatta (TDW Furniture), Mr. Hiten Vasant (Vasant Group) & Mr. Ketan Trivedi (So South). Shri Punit Lalbhai, executive director – Arvind Limited was the Chief Guest and inaugural speaker at the event while Dr. Shailendra Raj Mehta, vice chancellor – Ahmedabad University was the chairperson. E Podium interacted with students of BKMIBA about focusing on ‘value over money’ and ‘passion’, cultivating the confidence to become an entrepreneur and the importance of keeping in mind Social business in society. The forum also stressed on young entrepreneurs being open to failing and critiquing their own work to achieve success. Describing their life and journey, entrepreneurs instilled the motivation and inspiration needed in the generation.
