Last week I was fortunate enough to make a last minute trip into the city to catch one of the pre-eminent examples of the rather unique "military metal" niche - Sabaton, all the way from Sweden!
We first encountered them at Download festival back in 2014, and their performance enthusiasm is as infectious as ever - it is no mean feat to get crowd participation from an NZ audience so quickly into the set!
All music rights obviously owned by the band (except their brief Metallica cover)
