The first exercise you see here is the plank to pushup, this is one of my favorites because you're working your shoulders and your core and a plank is a great, great exercise to really focus on the entire abdominal region. Keep your back nice and flat, make sure you are just pushing yourself up. When you get about 10 on one side and 10 on the other. Keep breathing, make sure you're feeling it all the way in that stomach and then push.
Next, were transitioning, all body weight exercises here, so you can do it anywhere in your home. You see side ups, this is one of my favorites. Stack those feet, lift those hips nice and high extend the hand nice and tall and lift your hips.
Now, I'm adding that next exercise with the rotation. Side plank with rotation. Now think about your rotation laughing, boom your coming underneath that's awesome. Both sides 10 one side 10 on the other. You have your side ups and then your side ups with rotation and your coming all the way, stack those feet and then when your doing your rotations the top leg goes forward and notice how the feet are pivoting and your rotating and reaching underneath. This really gets the obliques, gets the rotational component, opens up the chest and shoulders.
And now look this is the variation for you to look at if you wanted to add a dumbbell you can, again this entire routine you do not need equipment. If like man I feel I want more well here you go. Put a 7.5 pound dumbbell in your hand, you have your side ups, and then when you add your rotational component wooo doggie. That things gonna hurt right there baby. So you got that rotational component all the way underneath, reach and extend, your shoulders are working and your core is on fire! So work that thing right there, one of my favorite exercises, all of these are my favorites. You're only talking 5 exercises total showing you some variations if you like to mix it up.
And then, 3 point core touches. Start slow, plank position, get your shoulders, get your core. Reach out, back, and underneath. So then out, back, underneath. 1,2,3, 1 stretch, 2, and 3. Then once you feel like you've got the rhythm then you can pick up your speed. If you're doing about 10 each side man, this things gonna be burning. You get a great stretch on your lower back and your lower abdominal region is going to be screaming at you.So the 3 point core tuck really a great exercise if you want to vary up and add a little equipment you can always put a bosu in there, This is really going to work on the shoulder stability. The fact that its an unstable surface of course, your entire abdominal region once again is going to be on fire. You couple these core exercises with great nutrition and your cardiovascular exercise, I promise you, you will be in great shape. There were just taking the kettlebells roll them on the side to get instability on the shoulders again I threw in some jumping jack feet, oh ya! Now were getting the cardio component going as well. So out, back, underneath, out back, underneath, throw in the jumping jack feet again this is exercise number four.
Again a great exercise and how about my running man. You keep those toes up to the sky and you want to try and work on the coordination. Work for twenty of these bad boys. Now, once again when you're doing this coordination the first three, four, five, even six reps you might feel a little uncoordinated, well you will be but as you get more athletic and work on this, this is a phenomenal abdominal exercise. Your upper ab, your lower ab and you are really trying to accentuate that pulling that elbow back as your doing that running man ab.
So there you have it, some of my favorite exercises. Five exercises, make sure you do them. Train hard, eat right, live inspired and get your abs rock solid. Peace and love, IMPACT baby IMPACT!
