Empleyado ng DOJ arestado dahil sa paglipat umano ng P12-M public funds | ABS-CBN News

Arestado ng National Bureau of Investigation ang isang administrative officer ng Department of Justice dahil sa umano'y paglipat nang hindi bababa sa 12-million pesos na public funds.
Ayon kay NBI Spokesperson Palmer Mallari, isinangguni ito ng DOJ sa NBI noong December 22, matapos matuklasan ang mga iregularidad sa payroll na kinasasangkutan ng mga benepisyo para sa mga regional prosecutor.
At dahil ang suspek umano ang may hawak ng payroll, nagawa niyang i-reactivate ang mga accounts at ilipat ang mga benepisyo papunta sa mga iligal na 'mule accounts.'
Nagsagawa ng entrapment operation ang NBI matapos makumpirma na ang mga bonus ng gobyerno, kabilang ang performance enhancement incentive at special recognition incentive ay na-credit sa mga account na naka-link sa suspek.
Ang suspek at ilang umano'y kasabwat ay kinasuhan ng Malversation of Public Funds, Qualified Theft, Graft at Multiple Cybercrime-related offenses.
