La Piragua - El Sistema Youth Orchestra

A Colombian family must escape of armed conflict in their country of origin; across the border in Venezuela the kids find an opportunity to get over the trauma of the displacement through music. The girl "Luz" relates their crossing singing “La Piragüa”, transforming their sorrows in a joyous celebration.
