For the Tenth Doctor's specials The Waters Of Mars was the obvious choice for me, I personally think that this episode is a masterpiece, there was so much leading up to this from when the Doctor lost Rose, to the explosion that was the Time Lord Victorious, we saw him change into a darker, bitter figure in series 3, we watched him start to heal in series 4 but then he was alone once more & there was no one to stop him. I thought The Waters of Mars was incredible & I always have done, everything about it is excellent, the acting from all the actors, not just Tennant was brilliant, the practical effects were phenomenal & the story was so well written. It definitley deserves all the acclaim it got.
