In January, I staked my tiny cane Begonia plant, the Begonia Maculata. Now, she is a big and beautiful Begonia which has amassed a following of its own!

Whether to stake a Begonia maculata or allow it to hang is entirely up to you. Begonia Maculata Wightii also called the Polka dot Begonia, Spotted Begonia or Angel Wing Begonia
Don't worry, I repeat this bit.
Poor air circulation creates mold and mildew. It is NOT an issue in this house. I am a big fan of lüften aka 'shock ventilation’. It keeps the house fresh.
Wind helps plants grow stronger by triggering chemical responses that thicken cell walls, creating sturdier stems and roots, and improving anchorage.
