【限量放映】《三島由紀夫: 最後思辯》MISHIMA: THE LAST DEBATE 12月16日 激昂辯論

60年代後期，全球政局動盪，日本多間大學的學運組織「全共闘」發起罷課及佔領校園等行動，與校方和警察發生大規模衝突。東京大學的「全共闘」於1969年，邀請了三度獲諾貝爾文學獎提名的文壇巨人三島由紀夫，與左翼的學生領袖及社運成員激辯，期望藉此與極右民族主義的三島決一高下。決戰前夕火藥味甚濃，有人更預計雙方會以拳頭分勝負。在氣氛緊張的演講廳，三島以一敵千，一來一往的言辭交鋒，慷慨激昂的政治辯論，沒有暴力，只有高質素的哲學博弈。最後雙方更因理解而尊重。這場半世紀前的精采對決，也成為後世面對不同政治立場，依然保持理性思辨的最佳典範。

事隔50年，導演豐島圭介把當年的辯論片段修復，再結合當年十三名有關人士和專家的證詞，重溫這次經典對決。本片入選釜山電影節 Wide Angle單元紀錄片競賽。

13 May 1969, University of Tokyo. Eighteen months before Mishima Yukio died by seppuku, the literary giant took the stage at his alma mater for a scintillating debate that has attained legendary status. During the peak of student protests, the radical right-wing author engaged in an intense battle of words about politics, philosophy and the course of Japan with the Zenkyoto, the leftist student group that spearheaded the protest movement. Bringing us back to that momentous time of social unrest and ideological fervour, this documentary reveals rare restored footage of the historic debate filmed by TBS, as well as new interviews with those present at the debate.
