"Almost Free" DIY Animal Shelter / Dog House / Shed Build for All Skill Levels using Pallets

My sisters dog, Lava, is an outside dog by choice. So with summer coming I decided she needed a nice shady place to lounge outside. An animal shelter where she could watch ducks on the left and rabbits on the right. But I'm broke.

Pallet wood offers the opportunity to build such a dog house / shed as the only cost are nails/screws and cosmetics. Also this simple design could be modified as a dog house or shelter for goats, chickens, ducks, Chupacabra's, or garden equipment. If you take your time you could likely finish it in 3-4 hours.

I used a jigsaw, miter saw, circular saw and nail gun but if you are limited in tools I promise you a hand saw and hammer is all you really need.
